Call for Graphic Designers Roster

The USAID Rule of Law Program is a five-year (2022-2026) activity funded by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) and implemented by the East-West Management Institute (EWMI).

The goal of the Program is to strengthen the rule of law in Georgia by building the independence and effectiveness of justice sector institutions, enhancing access to justice for all segments of society, and increasing citizen and institutional oversight of justice sector institutions.

The USAID Rule of Law Program is seeking to create a roster of qualified experts in the field of graphic design and data visualization who may be involved in designing/creating various online and printing products/publications. The graphic designer(s) will be required to:

  1. Comply with the USAID Rule of Law Program graphic standards. Select colors, images, text styles, and layout according to the Program’s branding;
  2. Based on the Program inputs and deadlines, interpret needs and develop designs that suit the purpose;
  3. Develop visual identities for Program activities/campaigns;
  4. Develop infographics, charts, graphics, and tables;
  5. Create visuals and graphics for the Program’s website and social media (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and YouTube);
  6. Submit at least two different preliminary layouts for discussion with the Program within the previously agreed deadline;
  7. Revise the selected layout as discussed with the Program (ensure all corrections have been inserted);
  8. Finalize and submit the design and layout of the product (online and/or printing) to the Program.

Products shall not be disclosed to the public nor used in whatever format without written permission of the Program.

Selection Requirements:

  1. Proven experience in graphic design and data visualization;
  2. Excellent command of formatting software (in particular InDesign);
  3. Proven experience of working/familiarity with the branding guidelines of USAID will be an asset;
  4. Excellent communication, interpersonal and diplomatic skills;
  5. An ability to balance work on several projects at a time and retain a keen eye for detail.
