The USAID Rule of Law Program, UN Women, and the Council of Europe Office in Georgia are jointly organizing a conference titled "Implementation of Sexual Harassment Prevention Mechanisms."
This event is part of the 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence Global Campaign and aims to bring together representatives from the legislative and executive branches of government, civil society, educational institutions, international organizations, human rights activists, gender equality advocates, and media.
The conference will commence with welcome remarks from distinguished speakers, including Tamar Sabedashvili, UN Women Deputy Country Representative in Georgia; Natalia Voutova, Head of Council of Europe Office in Georgia; Lisa Kovack, Acting Director, Office of Democracy, Rights, and Governance, USAID/Georgia; Rati Ionatamishvili, Member of the Parliament of Georgia; Maka Peradze, Head of the Human Rights Unit at the Government’s Administration; and Levan Ioseliani, Public Defender of Georgia.
