The project will promote the enhanced transparency, independence, and credibility of Georgia’s court system by supporting the activities of the NGO Coalition for an Independent and Transparent Judiciary. Social Justice Center, as the Coalition Chair organization, will monitor and prepare a report and multimedia products on the implementation of the December 2021 legislative changes related to the judiciary. One of the main objectives of the project is to increase awareness about the topic and advocate for crucial institutional changes to renew and remodel the judiciary. 

The project will prepare and distribute multimedia products and materials in multiple cities across Georgia to increase public awareness of the problems in the judiciary. Social Justice Center will also organize a Justice Forum on the challenges of and perspectives on judicial system reform with the participation of the main stakeholders. Social Justice Center will additionally hold workshops with the judges and other court staff members in seven Georgian cities.
