Union of Human Rights Defenders - Human Rights Center will work to ensure that every individual in Georgia exercises his/her freedom of expression and assembly without any limitations through strategic litigation.

The Union will work on the cases of civil activists, human rights defenders, and journalists, whose freedom of expression and assembly have been violated during the various assemblies and manifestations in Georgia. Information bulletins/briefs and a summary report will be prepared to assess the identified challenges in the realization of freedom of expression and assembly in Georgia both in the legislation and in practice. The project covers Tbilisi, Shida Kartli, and Imereti regions.
