On January 22, 2024, the Constitutional Court of Georgia will host the first forum focused on teaching constitutional proceedings. The event is supported by the USAID Rule of Law Program and the Council of Europe Office in Georgia project on ‘Strengthening the Independence and Professionalism of Justice in Georgia.’
The forum will open with welcoming addresses from Merab Turava, Chairman of the Constitutional Court of Georgia; Giorgi Chkheidze, Chief of Party of the USAID Rule of Law Program; and Giorgi Giorgadze, representative of the Council of Europe Office in Georgia.
The objective of the forum is to establish an ongoing platform for dialogue between the Constitutional Court of Georgia and the university community.
