Georgian Bar Association (GBA) with USAID Rule of Law Program support conducted a two-day training for GBA staff members who belong to its Analytical Department, Ethics Commission, Administrative Department, and Training Center. The training improved their skills in managing programs and initiatives.
Local expert Lela Machaidze gave the lectures and led the hands-on exercises. The training sessions covered key topics such as the project life cycle, methodologies for effective management, and the roles and responsibilities of project managers, sponsors, and stakeholders.
The training also introduced techniques for team formation, developing essential documents like the Project Charter and Scope, creating a Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) Dictionary, and managing risks using a risk register.
Participants also learned about different project assessment techniques, including both Top-Down and Bottom-Up approaches.
