The project will increase the quality of academic legal research at the Master’s degree level and support law students in acquiring analytical and practical skills at the Bachelor’s degree level. As part of the project, a Research Lab on Georgian Legal Culture will be established at Ilia State University, producing a multidisciplinary research paper on the transformations of legal practices in times of systemic change. Furthermore, a master’s degree course on Georgian Legal culture along with study materials will be developed and introduced at Ilia and Batumi State Universities.
Ilia State University will also assist partner universities in Telavi and Batumi to incorporate practical skills building components in three bachelor’s degree compulsory subjects and organize institutional and inter-institutional competitions, including the creation of posters, writing of essays and moot court competitions.
