The project will advance the practical and research skills-related educational programs at Samtskhe-Javakheti and Gori State universities by introducing the teaching of practical legal skills and engaging students in moot court competitions and summer schools. As part of the project, a syllabus on the topic of elective human rights will be developed along with an instructor’s manual, while law professors from partner universities will be trained in teaching methodologies. Also, the Project will assist regional universities implement clinical legal education and train students in shadow report writing. 

The Project will establish an Alumni Network with a clear action plan and set of activities to be undertaken following the project’s finalization. Levan Aleksidze Foundation will engage local partners in implementing the Project, including the ELSA Georgia, Georgian-American University, Training Center of Justice (Ministry of Justice of Georgia) and Levan Mikeladze Diplomatic Training and Research Institute (Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Georgia).
