The project will collect information for evidence-based advocacy targeted at anti-corruption reform in the common court system by monitoring high-value civil disputes at the Tbilisi City Court, Tbilisi Court of Appeals, and Batumi City Court. TI - Georgia will monitor randomly selected cases and conduct on-demand monitoring of cases by attending court hearings, requesting public information, and analyzing interim and final court decisions.
The organization intends to identify potential weaknesses in the commercial dispute resolution mechanism, including the risks of corruption. The findings and recommendations will be communicated to the stakeholders, including the business community and political parties.
