The project will increase the transparency and accountability of the justice system in Georgia through systemic and rigorous monitoring of courts and the High Council of Justice and raising public awareness of developments in the court system. GYLA will observe hearings at the city courts of Tbilisi, Batumi, and Kutaisi, and Tbilisi and Kutaisi second-instance courts. 

The monitoring results will be summed up in reports, which will be widely publicized in social media campaigns and meetings with target groups.
