The project will promote citizen oversight of the justice system by engaging citizens in the monitoring of hearings in ten courts across Georgia. Georgian Court Watch will mobilize volunteers from local universities, who will engage in court monitoring and observe 480 hearings. In addition to the monitoring of randomly selected cases, the project will conduct monitoring based on the requests of litigants. The project will contribute to the improved administration of justice through solution-oriented citizen oversight.
