The project by Grigol Robakidze University (GRUNI) aims to support the development of a private mediation system in Georgia. It will create a platform for offering private mediation services to citizens in cooperation with the Tbilisi Municipality Legal Clinical Program – Tbilisi Advocate and human rights NGOs providing free legal aid to vulnerable citizens that will refer potential civil cases to the GRUNI private mediation center.

GRUNI will cooperate with the Mediators Association of Georgia (MAG) and its registry mediators, who will conduct mediation proceedings. In addition, the project will identify and train twenty students to help in communication with the parties to mediation proceedings and observe the process.
