The USAID Rule of Law Program in Batumi will hold a public discussion on the topic of free speech and freedom of speech on June 9 this year.
The public discussion will be led by writer Davit Gorgiladze and lawyer Zviad Kordzadze.
Davit Gorgiladze is a journalist by profession, an expert in communications and public relations, as well as media and new technologies. As an invited lecturer, he leads a theoretical and practical course at the State University of Georgia and Kolab on the topic of Storytelling. He currently has an author's program on the YouTube channel "Gorgiladze's Unbearable Lightness." In 2018, a collection of his short stories, "God is at Work," was published and quickly became a bestseller. He is also the winner of several literary competitions.
Zviad Kordzadze has been practicing law since 1995. Since 2014, he has been an associate professor at the Georgian-American University, an invited lecturer at Tbilisi State University, and head of the legal clinic. Along with his legal and educational activities, he is engaged in publishing activities and is involved in various projects. During his career, Zviad has held leading positions in the professional association.
